Nana’s Candy Shop is committed to providing you with the best possible customer service experience and is bound by the GDPR (Data Protection Act) 2018, which sets out principles concerning the privacy of individuals. Please take a moment to have a look at the following terms and conditions on the sale to ensure that you are happy with the service we provide. Please note that any person using and ordering from our website is deemed to understand and accept our terms and conditions.
Delivery of Products
Our aim at Nana’s Candy Shop is to get your sweets to your door as soon as possible in the best manner possible. All orders are sent out within 2-4 working days from the date of receiving your order unless stated otherwise. We send all orders via Evri, recorded to be signed for. Your order should arrive to you within 2-5 working days from the date of postage but cannot guarantee this during busy periods and seasonal fluctuations. Please note orders placed after 5 pm on Friday will be dealt with until after the weekend.
Nana’s Candy Shop only sends out the best quality products to their customers that are well within their best-before date. However, we cannot accept responsibility for deterioration caused by climatic conditions or transportation once the goods have left our premises.
We will deliver the products ordered by you to the delivery address provided. It is however your responsibility to provide us with accurate delivery information as we will not check or verify addresses and messages supplied by you.
Refunds & Returns Policy
At Nana’s Candy Shop unfortunately we don’t offer a returns policy. Please be aware that Nana’s Candy Shop cannot be held responsible for stock affected by circumstances beyond our control. This includes damage and neglect after goods are received, goods being stored in climatic conditions such as extremes of temperature that can affect some items, and damage by third parties.
In addition, please be aware that during particularly hot spells of weather goods in transit can be affected by extreme heat so please be aware items of a delicate nature such as chocolate may not always look as pictured, but they will still taste the same.
If there is any issue with your order due to an error on our part, we will of course do everything we can to rectify this.
I am unable to offer refunds on items that arrive late due to the fault of the couriers. I operate a dispatch date system and if the order was sent on time by Nana’s Candy Shop, then any issues will need to be taken up with the selected courier.
Whilst items sent by Evri usually arrive after 3-5 working days of dispatch from us, Evri states that only items still not delivered after 15 working days can be officially classified as lost. If the products are not delivered within the estimated delivery time, please contact us, at the information below.
We cannot guarantee a specific delivery timescale unless you get in contact with us first.
Allergy Advice & Ingredients
All customers should be aware that unfortunately all the sweets offered in the store are manufactured and packaged in environments where nuts may be present and therefore Nana’s Candy Shop cannot guarantee that any sweets supplied are free of nuts and nut traces.
We try our best to provide ingredient information on all our sweets however on some occasions we may not include this information. If you require ingredients on any specific items, then please send a request to us. Please note that the ingredients provided are those from manufacturers’ packaging and lists and cannot be held responsible for their content. Nana’s Candy Shop reserves the right to use alternative manufacturers for all sweets on offer and therefore cannot guarantee that the ingredients listed will match exactly those sent previously. Nana’s Candy Shop only sources the highest quality sweets to provide you with the best-tasting treats.
Out-of-Stock Items
Nana’s Candy Shop works with many traditional UK confectionery suppliers to ensure that we can provide the quality, value, and range everybody wants. There are times an item or two will be unavailable should this situation occur; we will contact you to confirm when the item will be restocked and sent out/or offer a substitute for something similar. If no similar item to the sweet can be found then we will contact you and ask if you would like the rest of your order dispatched and the missing item(s) sent once in stock (at no extra postage costs), or if you would like us to hold back your order until everything is ready.
Nana’s Candy Shop may also choose to cancel any sale and not supply products if it is reasonable to do so and may change or discontinue the availability of products at any time at its discretion. If an order is canceled, any payment made for the products will be refunded in full. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
Pricing Policy
The price payable for the Products shall be as shown on the Website. Prices advertised on the Website exclude delivery charges.
Delivery charges are shown separately when ordering and must also be paid in advance. Payment shall be made by you by the means specified on the Website and shall not be deemed to be made until we have received cleared funds in respect of the full amount stated in the order. Prices are subject to change without notice, but changes will not affect orders that we have already accepted. Payment for Products depends on the delivery option selected with a credit card, debit card, or Bank Transfer
Data Protection Policy
Nana’s Candy Shop commits to protecting your privacy and promises only to use information collected about you following the Data Protection Act 1998.
When you place an order, we may ask you for certain information and you may submit personal data to Nana’s Candy Shop (for example your name, phone number, postal address, email address, contact, and bank details). We may also record which products you are interested in and which products you purchase as well as customer traffic patterns and store use.
Discount Code Terms and Conditions
Official Nana’s Candy Shop Discount Codes entitle you to an extra percentage (specific to the Discount Code in question) off your next online order. Discount Codes can only be used once per customer, cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion or offer, remain our property right to use alternative manufacturers for all sweets on offer, and therefore cannot guarantee that the ingredients listed will match exactly those sent previously. Nana’s Candy Shop only sources the highest quality sweets to provide you with the best-tasting treats.
There is no cash alternative. Discount codes exclude sale and delivery charges. We reserve the right to withdraw them and refuse or restrict any order at any time.
